Cali Re-Up: Bags & Packaging
I noticed that my California post is repetitve. There’s only so many times I can put up my Rubio’s dish or my animal style In-N-Out fries. So, for this first Cali Re-Up series I will showcase the designs of shopping bags and product packaging of the items I purchased out in the wild wild west.
Strada in Berkeley, CA: Nothing fancy about the packaging, but I have to mention that this is the best Mocha Bianca you can get for the price.
Stussy Store in SF: I’m always a fan of black on black design. Simplicity is my thing, so the “SF” tag stands out more to me.
Upper Playground in SF: Orange is the staple color to represent the bay for the giants and incorporating it with any true SF company is a must.
Apple: I was surprised when I saw the bag to this. My eyes glowed as they unfolded the bag and formed it into a box. I only bought a small item, but it’s a simple item to display on my table…or just to put random shit in.
LRG x Monster iPhone Case: Daveee introduced this to me and I normally don’t like cases, but this I bought because my pants are getting smaller and my ass is getter fatter. The packaging is just awesome. The product uses a magnet clipping, which is also used in the package itself.
Marc Jacobs & Marc by Marc Jacobs: What may look like two similar bags with an added “Marc” and switched colors, the white Marc bag is actually more sophisticated. It’s heavier, thicker, ribbed, and the text is raised making it the hierarchy brand.
Diesel Watch Box: A white box in which the box is the watched is held by a little pillow. The white brings a subtle classiness to it, while the rivets leave the industrial feel that everyone is familiar with.
Goyard: Thanks to my good friend Garrett, he mentioned that the only Goyard store in US is in SF. I extended my visit just so I could take a glimpse of it. Little did I know that I would actually buy something from there. What else could I say about this classy brand except one word: Class. They honestly didn’t have to wrap it up in a ribbon and give my receipt in an envelope, but they did give me a little book on the history of Goyard which the guy told me would be a nice short read on the plane. I also love how huge the box is compared to my wallet.

love it!
this is actually one of my favorite posts that you’ve put up! — and now i can actually SEE the shit that you’ve been purchasing and talking (and talking… and talking… AND TALKING… lol) about.
the Goyard shit is just fillllllllllllllllllthy, can’t believe how nice it is — or at least what your camera portrays it to be. the lrg case is just richness, it’s bomb, fool, and big ups to the super fresh diesel watch. you’re stepping up your “sophistication” game, good sir.
oh, and where are you! lol.
