i’m doing a spot for it on the time square walgreens  for this new toy coming out in july. we received one today to test out the product and to shoot it for the spot. the result was us dickin’ around for about an hour playing with it.

Wow, Eric of Tim and Eric continues to amaze me with how bizarrely his videos keep getting. I’m still infatuated by this new one for Major Lazer, both visually and because Nina Sky sisters are hot. By the way, if you haven’t heard youtube is now on 1080p.

Based on my logo, I made a bunch of pacman buttons for my portfolio showing at the ADC and now it’s time to bring them back out for tonight’s fight with Miguel Cotto. After my mom bitched about how she spent $50 dollars on the last fight for 2 rounds, I’m heading out to a bar to view the fight, passing out pacman buttons to supporters.

“One Year” is a short film by John P. Raposas in which I created the intro for. A couple of weeks ago he told me that the film was accepted in the Chicago Filipino American Film Festival. Unfortunately I can’t attend, but if you are in the area, this weekend is the showing of the movie along with many other movies. Congrats John and it was a pleasure to work with you on this film.

For those who don’t know, they are a New York based instrumental/ambient band. Motion design firm onesize created a beautiful music video for their song “Anything You Synthesize”. I can’t wait for the new season of Mad Men to start. All the promos on the street along with working next to a Banana Republic which their clothes are linked to the show. It makes me want to buy another suit and wear it to work. Anyway, you can create your own Mad Men cartoon character. I dressed mines up similar to the same suit I wore in the Rios wedding, but I don’t think there would be any Filipinos in a high position in an advertising agency chillin’ with Don Draper. Oh well, it’s nice to imagine sometimes.

Oh and Shuda, if you’re reading this I checked out the girls section of this and you can make Jamie in a behive like you wanted. It’s fun to dream.

It all started with a long ride from NY to Philly. Matt and I met up with my sister in front of the Tick Tock Diner, the meeting spot for the Bolt Bus. Unfortunately for Matt, he had to sit next to the smelliest dude. To make matters worse, we were running a little late and were afraid we wouldn’t make it in on time. As soon as the bus dropped us off, we went straight to the nastiest bathroom in the train station to change. Not having anything to eat all day, Matt copped an Antie Ann’s Pretzel eating it on the cab to Water Works.

Attention Chicago cabs: you need this shit.

As soon as we arrived, we see Majette, Shuda, and Anthony Serini and their wives/girlfriend. I haven’t seen them in about a year and a half when I was last in Philly. The wedding was small, probably a total of 40 people. When I came to visit for the 4th, the couple told me the whole theme of the wedding was ‘water’. The wedding was held right behind the Art Museum in Water Works and a bottle of water was given to us as we waited for the bride to arrive.

As soon as the wedding was over, we met and greeted Jill and Mike’s parents whom we have never met. I also didn’t meet Lori, Jill’s bridesmaid.

As the Rios’ took photos, we waited getting saucy and filling up on hore d’oeuvres. Bruschetta, egg rolls, strawberries, something in a small cone and some other awesome food I can’t remember kept us good until din-din. Also one of the caterer looked like Vinny Chase. As we took our seats, we found our names attached to a bag with a Charity Water bracelet inside which a donation was made to provide 8 people with clean water.

Leave it up to the Yonkers to come to the wedding with sneakers on. Classy though, classy.

When I took this photo of Team Shuda, I noticed something in the window.

I didn’t know if it was a cat or a boar or what. Mandrews and Shuda checked it, but forgot what it was.

The winds and the rain came down pretty hard knocking this tree display down. I think it even hit one of the caterer’s head.

The hat went everywhere that night.
